Through volunteer work and community engagement, Together Vermont promotes campus and community connections. Students, faculty, and staff come together to express their gratitude to the surrounding Burlington community.

History

In 2024, Evan Siegel ‘24, was serving as part of the UVM Student Government Association. During that time, he noticed a disconnect between the students and the surrounding community. To bridge this relationship, Evan, Amblen Isenhour '26, and a few SGA members came up with the initial framework for what Together Vermont became during the first event in April 2024. Evan Seigel envisioned a one-day service project where the students at University of Vermont could show their appreciation of local residents and organizations by spending the day together making the community better.
